The movie was made in 1973 but came out in 1976.

It has some of LZ's best hits like Rock'n'roll (now featured in the Cadillac commercials) Dazed and Confused and Stairway To Heaven. In between the songs there are pictures and strange scenes with band members.

Unfortunately, the only special feature is the trailer. But who needs bonus features when you have Robert Plant's raw lead vocals, Jimmy Page's fast raunchy guitar riffs and explosive solos, John Paul Jones's tasty bass notes and organ licks and Bonzo's loud drumming that shakes the sold out stadium.

amp;amp;lt;br&gt;
This is Led Zeppelin in their hey day!

Whole Lotta Blog

A few people have commented on my blog, specifically the title which is an obvious reference to Led Zeppelin. My plan is to occasionally post about Zeppelin but not make every post about Zeppelin.

Does anyone have the Led Zeppelin DVD set? If you don't it is a definite must for any Zep Head's collection. Two DVDs packed with Led Zeppelins hits from 1969 to 1979 and concert halls from Royal Albert Hall, Madison Square Garden, Earls Court and Knebworth. The special features include never before seen interviews and promos. They also have a CD with live stuff from famous concerts.

All of the DVDs and CDs were put together by the Guitarist, Jimmy Page.

&amp;lt;br&gt;

Got the Point?

Today I went with my grandpa to Centennial Gardens Arena to watch George the Giant break a Guiness World Book record. I got to meet George and shake his hand. He's a really nice guy.

George the Giant is a seven foot tall, two-hundred-ninety-one pound man that swallows swords and flames. But, today he broke the world record for laying on a bed of nails while a 1000 pounds of bricks were placed on his chest and broken with sledge hammers.

This was a private test run with only the employees (and a few guests). Tonight, he has to do it again with the media and people from Guiness World Book, etc. The record was seven hundred pounds of brick. George broke the record with one-thousand pounds of cement brick.

George laid on the bed of nails and two guys placed a piece of plywood on him to protect his chest. Then they went through the routine of laying the bricks on the plywood twice. The second time, when the last brick was laid, they lit the top one on fire. Then two guys with sledge hammers quickly smashed the bricks and took the plywood off George

He had been wearing a t-shirt and when he got up he took it off so we could see the holes in his back. I've got pictures that I'll post here soon...

Pretty cool, huh?

Green Tea Frappucino

Today I had a Green tea frappacino. During the trip to the East coast, we detoured off the planned path and went to Hershey Park. The park is located in Hershey, PA. Tons of cool rides and chocolate shops all over the place.

While we were there we all rode the first ride, except my uncle (we are the same age). For some reason he wouldn't ride anything. He flat out hates amusement parks. Each time we got off a ride we tried to convince him to ride one with us. Of course he wouldn't and we'd continue on.

The next ride we got to we started to get in line and my nana said, "I will sit this one out."

"This is only the second ride," I replied.

"I am going to stay with Garett." (My uncle and her son)

So my sister, Kate, and I stood in line for the front cars. The ride was awesome. We told Nana that the ride wasn't that bad (but it kind of was, we just didn't tell her). She decided to get on and she was pretty confident that we were telling the truth. We get to the top of the drop and she saw how high up we were and she shot me one of the nastiest dirty looks I have ever seen.

After the ride was over she said, "I can't go on rides like that, you know I take heart medication. Do you want to kill you grandmother?"

(grandmother, as if she's that old)

"I guess not."

The rest of the day Kate and I were the only ones riding any rides. It is the first time she has ever gone on any serious rides with loops and corkscrews, she could not shut up. She kept talking non-stop about how great each ride was and how she wasn't afraid any more. I was just happy someone else was riding and having a good time.

I'm left wondering, why bother to pay the money to get in, if you aren't going to ride any rides?

Your guess is as good as mine.

How Many Miles Does Your Horse Get On A Full Tank?

During my adventure on the East coast I went to Lancaster, PA. Lancaster is known for it's Amish community. The Amish are pretty cool. They have little shops that you can go buy things like farming products, dirt cheap. They also have German pie shops on every corner, they sell pies like, shoo fly pie. Never had it but if anyone has, please write to me and tell me how it is.

The Amish name their villages strange names like Intercourse and Bird-in-Hand. Stuff like that. Besides the food and products there is an amusement park. It is called Dutch Land. Kind of strange but they have 23 rollercoasters.

If you didn't know, the Amish are German and are required to learn German when they are children. So every time I would hurt myself in the car I would say shiza (sp.) which is $hit in German and my grandmother would say "Don't say that, they know what that means!"

"Oh yeah, Oops," I said.

But to get back on subject, in the morning you can see them doing their chores like plowing the fields and riding in their horse pulled buggies. The people controlling the horse are just about fearless. I have seen them get on the freeway and ride right in the middle of traffic.

When I saw one getting on the freeway I said " How many miles does your horse get on a full tank?"
Everyone started laughing.

Expect more about my travels on the East coast

What Kind Of Coffee Am I?

You Are a Frappacino

At your best, you are: fun loving, sweet, and modern

At your worst, you are: childish and over indulgent

You drink coffee when: you're craving something sweet

Your caffeine addiction level: low

What Kind of Coffee Are You?

It's TRUE... and that is my absolute favorite - Venti Mocha Frappacino!

New York, New York

Anyone ever visit New York City? If you haven't you should. NYC is one of the neatest places I have ever been. There are so many things to see like the Empire State Building , Trump Tower, Studio 1A Rockefeller Center, Broadway, Macys and Madison Square Garden.

Walking and taxis are the easiest ways to get around New York, if you are a tourist. It wasn't as crowded as I expected it to be, we were there on a weekend and a few people working in shops told us that most people in New York go to Atlantic City to get away.

The only thing I didn't like about New York was the smell and the heat.

Just Beginning to Relax Again

About a week ago my plane touched down from a long vacation on the humid east coast. Our flight had been delayed in Philladelphia which made us miss our connecting flight to Los Angeles from Atlanta.

We waited to board the plane in Philly for three hours before we were able to take off. When we arrived in Atlanta it was 11:00pm eastern time which is 8:00pm pacific. We thought we were going to have to sleep in the airport but Delta, our airline, set us up for a hotel outside of the airport.

We were up until 1:00am eastern time. The alarm sounded at 5:30 am. Everyone was half asleep and grumpy. The shuttle picked us up at 6:00am. When we got to the airport we had to stand in long lines because people were flying out for the 4th of July. Finally after going through baggage check we made it to our gate.

After a five hour flight with rough turbulance we arrived in LA. We grabbed our bags, picked up the car and headed home. During the 2 hour car ride home to Bakersfield almost everyone fell asleep.. As soon as we got home we had to repack for our next vacation destination. This time no plane just a 2 hour drive to the beach.

We spent the 4th of July over at Pismo. We've been home for a week now and it's nice not to have to dig my clothes out of a suitcase...

I'll add more specifics about my vacation to the east coast in future posts. I've got some interesting things to report, we visited New York City, Lancaster, Pennsylvania (Amish Country), and Hershey's amusement park in Hershey, PA.

For now, I'll sign off - I just wanted to give a quick update on my current status.

packing

I am beginning to pack for my trip to the East coast.
